What does a fire-breathing praying mantis, a place called “The Boozery,” and a vortex inversion dome have in common with puppies and a holistic health store? All are part of the new downtown Vegas shopping experience at the Container Park.
Remember when cardboard boxes could turn into a princess castle, a spaceship or a racecar when you were a kid? The newest addition to DTLV’s facelift takes that idea to ANOTHER LEVEL. The Container Park is made entirely out of recycled shipping containers (which makes it good for the environment) and full of hip culinary ventures and unique boutique shopping (which makes it good for the soul). More than 30 containers are filled to the brim with local Las Vegas goodness, making this shipping-shopping-sanctuary a giant Tupperware jungle gym for adults, which is great, because it also has a state-of-the-art play area for kids.
Located at the corner of Fremont and 7th, the Container Park is set to open on December 5 and you better believe we’ll be there. After all, between the cupcake shop and the candy store, it’s every grown-up-kids’ dream.
